Typography is a powerful part of our University brand that enhances our visual messaging in each communication and provides a cohesive look to digital and print materials and promotions.


Primary Typefaces

These well-designed fonts are preferred for University communications. They are not native to PCs or Macs, but are available through the Adobe Creative Cloud.

Acumin Pro

This typeface provides accessible styles for use in sidebar text, captions, and callouts. It is a versatile, modern, sans serif typeface family designed for maximum versatility, featuring a neutral aesthetic suitable for both text and display, making it ideal for information design, branding, and editorial use.

Acumin Pro Condensed

With its stylized weights for special instances, this is a highly versatile, heavyweight sans serif typeface that features a narrow, space-efficient width and a strong presence, making it ideal for high-impact headlines and information design where a modern aesthetic is required.

Acumin Pro Extra Condensed Black

Primarily used for headlines, this is a highly bold, narrow sans serif typeface designed for maximum impact in headlines, using an extremely narrow width and high-density weight to maximize screen or page usage, while maintaining a modern, clean aesthetic.

Warnock Pro

A classic yet contemporary type family that performs a variety of typographic tasks with elegance. The wide range of weights available in the Warnock Pro family lends versatility and adaptability to messaging needs. Warnock Pro Light is perfect for body copy as well as headlines.


Alternative Typefaces

When the University’s primary fonts are not accessible, these approved alternatives from the Google font library can be utilized—download from fonts.google.com.

Oswald Bold

A sans serif font mainly for headlines, it features a condensed structure with strong, narrow characters, making it ideal for impactful messages, web design, and high-legibility, space-efficient, and authoritative branding.

Roboto

This is a sans serif font family alternative. Known for its modern, highly legible design, it combines geometric elements with open, friendly curves, making it ideal for mobile interfaces, web, and digital branding.

Crimson Text

This is a serif font family alternative. It is characterized by its traditional, elegant, and highly legible design, making it ideal for body text in print, long-form reading, and academic publishing.
